Gethsemane translates to ‘olive press’, and it was here in the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus spent His final moments in prayer before His arrest (Matthew 26:36-56).

This particular place in Jerusalem is home to olive trees that are over a 1,000 years old. Olive trees can ‘renew’ itself, where young shoots sprout out from the main tree, helping the old tree ‘stay alive’.
