The Sea of Galilee was a central location of Jesus’ ministry. It was where He met His first disciples (‭‭Mark‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭), walked on water (‭‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭16‬-‭21‬), and restored Peter (‭‭John‬ ‭21‬:‭15‬-‭19‬).

It is also one of the lowest fresh water lakes in the world, which can be a beautiful picture of how it is at our lowest points and deepest valleys that Jesus can use to bring forth and abundance of blessings – the start of journeys (meeting His first disciples), closure of some (restoring Peter), and everything else in between.
